The weekly ecommentary started at a time when I was trying to make sense of all that was going on in my life. I started sending it out to some friends who found it useful. I have continued to write a piece once a week for about ten years now (June, 2010). (I think I only took two weeks off in all this time.)

Each ecommentary is a personal biblical response to something happening in the world or in my heart. Therefore each commentary stands alone. I seek the Lord each week for the subject of the commentary of the week.

A weekly column is demanding. Some weeks were very stressful as I was not clear as to what should be my subject for the week, of if the week had a lot of other work.

Therefore it is truly a miracle that the commentaries have been coming for a decade now though I am fully aware that the columns are of varying quality.
